I adore cream teas! My record is only two in one day 🙂

That would be my limit too!

Ah, cream teas are scones.

That makes them sound rather dull. Much more than that. Scones topped with large amounts of clotted cream and jam (jelly). Yummy!

And once even ate forty seven! I love playing around with that last line of your terrific limericks.

…and a fine job you do too Elizabeth. I think you should start your own weekly limericks.

I would want to visit there just to share in the cream teas with someone who found heaven. 🙂

Thank you for the link to read the background of Totnes. Your limerick is always fascinating and fun to read, Peter. I love scones – blueberries mixed berries. Creams teas must be very rich. I don’t think I could eat even one, let alone seven.

Thank you! Fattima tried to bring back clotted cream but her container was too big! She has her sisters over regularly utilizing her buckingham tea set!! It’s quite hilarious!

Good morning Peter!!! This is so fun. Thanks for starting my day with laughter! Cheers!!! 😅❤️🤗

Seven cream teas does sound like heaven. Not sure about those Devon cream teas, though. They put the jam and cream on the wrong way round…
