I wish I’d said what’s in my head
I wish I’d kissed your lips instead
I should, I ought, have voiced my thought
Instead I failed and now there’s nought!
I love this Peter. It sums up quite a bit, and quite eloquently !

There is a great Mary Chapin Carpenter song called “Shut Up and Kiss Me.” Also e.e. cummings “whoever pays attention to the syntax of things will never wholly kiss you.” You are in great company.

Good one Peter. However, it might have been safer to kept my mouth shut.
