There was a young lady from Ayr
who wore brussels sprouts in her hair
Her hat was a cabbage
which made her look savage
and my how the townsfolk did stare!
From a huge poll of what to do next, after A to Z, and back, of animals and insects, I held a competition. The winner got to choose my subject matter for the next year.
Actually, that’s a bit of a lie! I just decided to use Village and Town names in the UK. X and Z may prove to be a problem, but what the hell!
This would be a cabbage patch story Peter ??

Sounds like quite a cruciferous accessory. She best be careful….it could also add to her aroma.

You made a good choice with U.K. towns and villages and when you get stuck just look for the old previous names, Roman, Jorvik etc. York for instance has two previous that I’m aware of. 🙂

I imagine the people not only stared, but steered..away from the, “eau de toilette” or maybe that should be, “toilet water” in the true nature of the smell she was probably emitting, by the wearing of cabbages & sprouts!! I just hope she hadn’t eaten some too!! 😂

They laughed ’til the big drought came,
then ran wildly calling her name!
They ate all her finery
she was their dinery
Now naked, she’s proud; feels no shame!!! 🤣

Oh the smell, and the whiff, and the pong
as the world went terribly wrong
it all just erupted
with earth’s core corrupted
and the angels joined in with a song
