It’s time again, for Kat Myrman’s wonderful challenge, to write a story, inspired by her picture prompt, in 280 characters or fewer.
Here is this week’s prompt and my contribution.
Check out all the fabulously creative entries here and, if you’ve never had a go, why not try a story of your own? You may surprise yourself!

Anthony was not told where his transplanted arm had come from.
He would have loved to know so that he could thank the family of the donor.
He was happy with his new limb, but there were a couple of things that irked him.
The worst of these was the constant urge to give Nazi salutes!

With apologies to Doctor Strangelove!
Okay, that ending line!!! Whoa!

Brilliant! Loved the video clip! I knew someone who received the transplanted heart of a young lad. She had strange cravings for chicken nuggets and nachos.

Ha, I hope his new arm doesn’t have any other urges in that direction! It wasn’t me officer, it was the arm…

Very funny Peter. I love the stuff you come up with.
I couldn’t help wondering if there were some unconscious thoughts, a parapraxis thing going on in your mind when you saw the sleeve of the outstretched arm and glimpsed the yellow badges bearing the number 66 they all wore.
Or maybe they’re just in my mind!

Parapraxis – and on a Sunday too!
I wonder what Freud would have thought of Twitter?

The diet changes on a Sunday!
Twitter?
Now that’s another thought.
Perhaps Freud may have thought it was a platform for idiots, a sick bowl where people spew out drivel that no one else is interested in!
And it’s not even 6:30 AM yet!

That was hilarious! I’m sure you know already Peter, that you have incredible biting wit–but I needed a laugh today and this was it! Excellent!
