It’s time again for Kat Myrman’s wonderful challenge to tax our creative souls. Just take her photo prompt and write a story, inspired by it, in 280 characters or fewer.

Here is this week’s prompt and my contribution. Check out all the fabulous entries here.
I do love a seaside holiday.
So do I, but not the West coast of Ireland!
You must agree there’s some fantastic scenery?
I would, if I could see it!
It’s getting lighter over there.
That’s just wishful thinking.
Oh, come on. Be more positive.
Two more pints of guinness please landlord!

Ah, the West Coast of Ireland! My frequent (and favorite) travel destination and one of the most beautiful places on earth! Cheers, Peter!

I must admit to a passing thought of your accounts of Ireland when writing it!

I used to live between Schull and Bantry, West Cork. I relate.

I take it the west coast sees a lot of rain. Hope to get across the pond one day to check it out. 😊

The West coast of Ireland has The Atlantic as a neighbour so sees more than its fair share of wind and rain.

It’s the same here in northern California. Cloudy, misty, foggy and often rainy.

So glad you didn’t choose Yorkshire for this one. Oddly enough the picture made me crave winter, log fires and cosily curled up on the sofa!
Come winter I shall be regretting this craving!

I used to live on the East coast (Cork) but took many trips west. However, being brought up in Cornwall, I’m used to constant mizzle 🙂

Ha ha ha. During our short trip to Ireland, we took a coach tour to the Cliffs of Moher. We were told that most people are not able to see their own hands in front of them when it rains. Luckily, we got a sunny day throughout.
