Helen’s theme this week is “Break“.
Wouldn’t we all like a break? Don’t we all deserve a break? We may, perhaps, want to break someone’s neck, or head, or face!
These are certainly times that bring out the worst in lots of us so I’ve found a nice thing that is broken. Not only has it broken, but it is lovely, and it breaks every single day.
The lyrics are on screen.
This is a montage of beautiful cats, kittens and blackbirds set to the song, “Morning Has Broken” by Cat Stevens. What’s not to like?
OH MY GOSH! I have not picked up my ukulele for MONTHS. I picked it up, tottled out “Morning Has Broken” and came to blogs, yours was right there. This just made me quite happy. 🙂

A wonderful old song Peter, and of course Ivor Steven is a fan of Cat Stevens….

Excellent choice Peter. I love the hymn, reminds me of my school days, always a popular choice for morning assembly and in later years from Teaching it to little ones in Sunday school. Pity schools have dumped morning hymns. Oh and the cats are cute too!
Ivor asks if you wouldn’t mind checking your spam folder for some of his comments. Thank you 😊

I grew up on Cat Stevens, Donovan, Joan Baez, James Taylor and Simon and Garfunkel. Love this song!
