It’s time again for Kat Myrman’s wonderful challenge to tax our creative souls. Just take her photo prompt and write a story, inspired by it, in 280 characters or fewer.

Here is this week’s prompt and my contribution. Check out all the fabulous entries here.
Someone said the link is broken.
I think it is missing, entirely.
Really it’s just an illusion; there is no continuity, no strength, no security!
If I can see it, why can so many others not?
I pray we can forge new links, pick up the broken and missing, and join together in harmony.
(280 characters)
this is difficult to translate, because I think there already the “broken link” can mean different things, but I like a lot the thoughts I could read inside. Although I have a completely different opinion. There is continuity and strength and the most security which is possible, but it is not in your thoughts and doubts. It is in your hopes and believes!

Thank you Anie, and I appreciate how difficult it must be sometimes to interpret the nuances, especially when the “story” is written in a way that does not say things in a clear or direct manner.

thank you Peter. Yes indeed there are always two different problems. The ambiguity of words and expressions. And than the intended ambiguity or the commitment of the writer of the poeme… you need to have backgroundknowlegde or insiderknowledge to understand the others and yourself!

😂thank you, at least pondering is always good… if my thoughts go in a different direction because if a misunderstanding or translation issue, it must not be bad… it’s just different as intended… as Long as I do not disturb and we enjoy the goal is still in sight. Have a beautiful weekend Peter

Lovely sentiments Peter. Going off in a different direction I saw a faulty Internet link that wasn’t quite there and then I thought about my chain of thought… also never quite there!

Thank you Sue for this new thought you gave me…maybe it will join together some lost thoughts of mine…and a proper chain of thoughts may fix other broken or missing links in my and others life!

Amen Peter. It’s long been thought the ‘missing link’ would connect us all once and for all.
And no worries my friend, there are others of us who see it too.
