It’s time again for Kat Myrman’s wonderful challenge to tax our creative souls. Just take her photo prompt and write a story, inspired by it, in 140 characters or fewer.
Here is this week’s prompt and my contribution. Check out all the fabulous entries here.
Will Mum still be up there Dad?
Yes, don’t worry, she’ll be there!
Are you sure Dad?
I’m sure son, you’ll see. She’s staying up there forever!
(140 characters)
Well, that’s a mystery! I can see getting a way for a break, but forever? Mmmmm. Well played Peter. You have me guessing! 🤔

Ooh, have mum and dad had a bit of a falling out? Or is that where dad stores all his victims? Nice one!

Oh I do like a puzzle.Did she go up there voluntarily in need of some peace, or maybe for a spot of twitching? Murdered perhaps? Or is it a shrine with flowers to decorate and a photo or two with ashes scattered below.

dad and son up there and mum up in heaven?..I guess so?…wonderful sad thoughts, Peter….hmm…
for me it is more an Arche Noah. After water was gone sitting between some old trees, which declare.”We carry you, we feed you, we are your mother earth.”…
